Andy Pierce
Andy is driven by personal experiences of overcoming challenges and loss, he is a dedicated mental health advocate and a certified mental health first aider. His own journey has inspired him to create the feature "Mental Health Matters" on his BBC radio show as a platform to openly discuss and raise awareness about mental health issues, with the goal of breaking down stigmas and fostering a supportive community.

In addition to his passion for mental health, Andy is an avid gardener and has a keen interest in current events and social issues. Alongside the podcast, Andy and his team also organise a series of engaging and impactful events. These events provide opportunities for people to come together, share experiences, and learn from experts in fields such as gardening, sustainability, mental health and wellbeing. From workshops and seminars to live performances and outdoor gatherings, Andy aims to create inclusive spaces that inspire personal growth and collective well-being.

Dale Neal
Dale Neal is a Leicester-born and bred individual. With over 27 years of experience, he is an award-winning radio producer, reporter, and broadcaster. Dale commenced his radio career at BBC Radio Leicester, the UK's first-ever local radio station, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017.

Dale's remarkable work in the media industry earned him recognition, including a prestigious SJA accolade for his coverage of the tragic helicopter crash in Leicester in 2018. Throughout the years, he has conducted interviews with numerous celebrities and politicians, while also providing valuable support to aspiring journalists in the early stages of their careers. Dale has additionally dedicated substantial time to media training initiatives.
